Upon meeting Jean re: quotes her service and advice was outstanding.

Your assigned team came to my old home on the Monday, 14th October and took over the packing with PROFESSIONALISM, EXTREME CARE and COMPETENCE. They always questioned where necessary and were EXTREMELY HELPFUL and PLEASANT with any and all of our requests and Questions.

In the pouring rain on Friday, 18 October….they delivered my items to my new home , again with SMILES, CARE and PROFESSIONALISM that not only impressed my husband and I, but the family that was present as well.

They OFFERED ASSISTANCE CONTINUOUSLY and saw to our EVERY REQUEST albeit that stairs were involved and in the RAIN. They were prepared to stay as long as it took to help me settle in.

I’m sure that I need not tell you that Service in our Country has been on the down recently and it is EXTREMELY REFRESHING that your Company and Staff go the extra mile and take their jobs and customer care SERIOUSLY! Many Companies can learn a lot from PICKFORDS WORK ETHIC AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Last but certainly NOT LEAST, I dealt with CHARLENE WILLEMSE telephonically and she is an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to speak to, assisted me with all my queries and change of dates, etc with THE most pleasant attitude! She was helpful , thorough and complete with her work. She is truly a GEM to Pickfords, I’m sure.

PICKFORDS has WON my husband’s and my vote for EXCELLENCE IN PROFESSIONALISM, CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE uncomparable! We will certainly be advertising and singing your praises for a long time

We really do believe it is fitting to compliment all your staff involved with our move!

Firstly, the packers were exceptional. Please can you thanks them on our behalf. How they packed up so much in such short time is amazing.

Secondly, The loaders and Booi (driver) were also very pleasant and did a difficult job very well by loading all our “Stuff” without any incident.

Thirdly, the Durban staff managed to unload and place all our furniture and boxes etc in place in record time (Total of 5 hours). Unfortunately I did not get a chance to personally thank them – they quietly left before I could. Please could you forward this mail on to their superiors so that they can pass on my sincere thanks to them all. They were really very professional and we really do appreciate their hard work.

So all in all, we say well done to Pickfords and we will confidently recommend you guys to anyone needing removal services in future.

As ek een van die span kan uitlig om spesiaal te loof dan is dit Eliah wat op ‘n kalm en vriendelike wyse die Pickfords span en ons gesin deur die proses gevat het. Ook jy was altyd hulpvaardig en vinnig om te reageer op vrae. Ek het reeds my werkgewer, wat vir die trek betaal het, hieroor ingelig.

After approaching several companies to quote on my move I decided to use Pickfords because of Jacques. He represents your company well and did everything that he said he would. It is not often I have received such excellent service from any company like I did from him and consequently gave his details to a friend of mine also relocating to Cape Town who has decided to use your company too. The Pickfords delivery team consisting of Sello, Hendrik and Godfrey was brilliant. My wife and I have never experienced such removal service as provided by these 3 young gentlemen. They walked the extra mile in ensuring that the removal of our furniture was as stress-free as possible. The removal truck arrived earlier than expected (11h00) and they commenced work immediately. At all times they worked with a smile, never complained, always listened attentively to our concerns and requests, and addressed them with ease. This excellent service was all provided in Witbank.

This excellent service was further accentuated when we arrived in Eco Park, Centurion, where our real problems begun around 19h30, Friday evening. At the second security gate we were questioned on the size of the truck and to our surprise the Pickfords 7-ton truck was not allowed to enter the complex as the maximum load is 5 tons. Sello called the Operations Manager, Derick, who was more than willing to assist with a shuttle service delivery on Saturday and it was much appreciated. However, the Pickfords team decided that they are going to do their best to get our furniture, together with boxes, delivered to our flat.

Sello tried to secure a bakkie for use from the Eco Park Security but to no avail. The team decided to look at the distance and the location of our flat from the security gate, which is about 250 m and on the 1st floor. Sello then said to me, "we are going to be SOLDIERS tonight" and certainly did. After 20h00, together with our Hyundai ix35, their little trolley and with the strength of their bodies carried and delivered all the stuff meant for the flat (others to storage) by 21h20. They went on to set the big items and even connected the washing machine. Finally signed the receiving documents and left around 21h50.

It is rare to meet such hardworking, dedicated and committed people as these three young gentlemen from Pickfords. We are so, so grateful and appreciative for all the Pickfords team has done for us. They have done Pickfords proud!!!

We want to commend Collette for the excellent service provided to us. From the first call my wife (Moganee) made to Pickfords to the final confirmation of the removal service, Collette provided a service of a world-class company. Brilliant!!!

She was extremely professional in everything she did,

- from communicating timeously,

- listening to understand,

- advising in the interest of the customer,

- keeping to the promises made, such as delivery date and time,

- very quick responses to queries,

- seems to understand the removal stress experienced by the customer,

- patient and accommodating with the submission of documents,

- showed no frustration even though she provided 3 different quotes,

- thorough and meticulous in working through the itemized list, line by line ,

- honest , sincere and seems to have an eager to help personality when she takes a call.

As my company paid for my removal, I was required to obtain 3 quotes, which I did. Of the 3 quotes received I recommended Pickfords due to the brilliant service we received from Collette. We are very satisfied customers and will highly recommend Pickfords to anyone.

Dear Landi,

Richard and I would like to thank you and the operational staff for once again being really professional, friendly and helpful in all aspects of our recent move.

This is the third time we have used Pickford’s (in three years) and we have only ever had excellent service from you.

On this occasion besides dealing with you I dealt with Clive who was wonderful especially as I kept changing the pick-up time. Ralph and his two assistants arrived on time and were friendly and professional. On the delivery side I dealt with Isaac and Aubrey (apparently from Jhb as they drove the truck from Jhb direct to Cape Town). Again they were diligent and as requested, called me about 30 minutes before arriving at the house. They had also earlier called to say that they would not be there at the requested delivery time due to the order of drop-off. This was not an issue as they did inform me early enough and so I was not inconvenienced in any way.

Please forward this to your supervisors as I do believe they need to know what good staff they have and the image you create for the company.

Dear Jean, Charlene and Tanika

I just have to let you know how overwhelmingly impressed I have been with the team and the way my move has been handled. The office staff have been extremely helpful and professional and Devan and his amazing team of ‘Moving Angels’ were just remarkable.

He arrived at my gate on Thursday morning with the greeting ‘Hello Mam, I’m Devan and I’m here to give you a hassle free move. I don’t want you to worry about anything, I’ll handle it all!” And that he did! His team were efficient and energetic. They were careful with everything and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a very difficult move for me, both physically and emotionally and I cannot express enough how much their help and support meant to me. They were with me for two days and when they left I even joked with them saying “I’m going to miss you tomorrow!!” – not something one would ever expect to say to a moving team!

There was one special star that really stood out – his name was Lucky. He even helped me position the bed in the room to get the best view out the window and gave me advice on how to improve the garden. You can be exceptionally proud of this team and Devan led them from the front with clear direction and guidance as well as getting stuck in with the physical moving wherever necessary.

This is my second move with Pickfords and I will be sure to recommend you to everyone I know.
